At Hello Gads, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order, we're here to help. Please read our refund and return policy carefully.
1. Return Eligibility
We accept returns under the following conditions:
- Time Frame: Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery
- Condition: Products must be unused and in original condition
- Packaging: Items must be in original packaging with all accessories, cables and brand boxes intact
- Hygiene & Data Safety: Certain sealed products (like in-ear earphones, earbuds or personal-use gadgets) are not eligible for return once opened, for hygiene and security reasons
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Opened in-ear earphones, earbuds and other personal-use audio devices
- Products marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable"
- Screen guards, tempered glass or films that have been applied/used
- Items that show signs of physical damage, misuse or unauthorized repair
- Custom or personalized accessories
3. How to Initiate a Return
To return a product, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email us at returns@hellogads.com or WhatsApp us at +91 62384 39926
- Provide Details: Include your order number, product details, and reason for return
- Get Authorization: Wait for our return authorization and instructions
- Ship the Product: Pack the item securely and ship it to the address provided
4. Return Shipping
- Defective/Wrong Items: We will provide a prepaid return label and cover all shipping costs
- Change of Mind: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
- Lost/Damaged Returns: We recommend using a trackable shipping service
5. Refund Processing
Inspection and Approval
Once we receive your returned item:
- We will inspect the product within 2-3 business days
- You will be notified via email about the approval or rejection of your refund
- If approved, your refund will be processed
Refund Timeline by Payment Method
- Cash on Delivery (COD): Refunds will be processed via bank transfer within 7-10 business days. Please provide your bank account details.
- Online Payment (Razorpay/UPI/Card): Refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 7-10 business days
- Wallet/Gift Cards: Refunds will be credited to your Hello Gads wallet within 2-3 business days
Refund Amount
- Full refund for defective, damaged, or wrong items (including shipping)
- Product cost refunded for change of mind (shipping charges non-refundable)
- COD charges (if any) will not be refunded for customer-initiated returns
6. Exchanges
We offer exchanges for:
- Size Exchange: If you ordered the wrong size
- Color Exchange: Subject to availability
- Defective Products: We will send a replacement immediately
Note: Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the desired size/color is unavailable, we will process a full refund.
7. Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a damaged or defective product:
- Report Immediately: Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide Evidence: Send clear photos/videos of the defect
- Quick Resolution: We will arrange a replacement or full refund (including shipping) immediately
8. Wrong Product Delivered
If you receive the wrong product:
- Contact us immediately with order details and photos
- We will arrange pickup at no cost to you
- Correct product will be shipped immediately with free shipping
- Full refund option available if you prefer
9. Cancellation Policy
Before Shipment
- Orders can be cancelled anytime before shipment
- Full refund will be processed within 3-5 business days
- To cancel, contact us via email, phone, or WhatsApp
After Shipment
- Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled
- You can refuse delivery and initiate a return
- Refund will be processed as per return policy
10. Partial Refunds
In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted:
- Products with obvious signs of use
- Products returned more than 7 days after delivery
- Products with missing accessories or parts
- Products returned without original packaging
11. Gift Returns
If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you:
- You'll receive a store credit for the value of your return
- Original purchaser will be notified of the return
- Credit can be used for future purchases

For online payments made through Razorpay:
- All refunds are processed through Razorpay's secure payment gateway
- Refund amount will be credited to your original payment method (card/UPI/wallet)
- Processing time: 7-10 business days (depending on your bank)
- You will receive a refund confirmation email from both Hello Gads and Razorpay

15. Store Credit Option
Instead of a refund, you can opt for store credit:
- Receive 100% value as store credit
- Credit processed within 24-48 hours
- Valid for 12 months from issue date
- Can be used for any future purchase
- No expiry extensions
